The biggest number of accidents occur in December according to Gunma's data in 2018-2022. The number of accidents resulting in injury or death is 1043 in average. And the number of deaths is 8. The most dangerous time is between 4:00-6:00 in the afternoon having 189 accidents in average, and secondary 161 accidents between 8:00-10:00 in the morning when people go to work or school and come home.
One of the reasons behind this result is that December is the end of a year which people and things move more often and irregularly. We must remind ourselves to have extra time in schedule to have piece in mind. There is nothing more valuable than lives. Please, be safe!
